'Kewin – or Kéké to his mates – has Beaujolais in his blood. The son of Georges Descombes, his wines have all the pretty poise, acid and elegance you’d expect from such heritage, and a refinement, structure and confidence that belies his age. One of Beaujolais brightest young talents!'
This has textbook Beaujolais aromas of blueberries, vine sap, earth, flowers and iodine. Whistle clean, bright and uplifting this is medium-bodied and wonderfully pure. The juicy ripe fruit is laced with slate and stems that push the flavours long in the mouth. Fluid and vibrant acidity keeps things fresh and adds a tang to the finish that keeps calling you back for another sip. Brilliant! Be careful – very moreish.
